About Us
Rising Oaks Farm was established in 2020; a lifelong dream became a reality for owner Cindy Myhre. “Having a barn filled with the exquisite ‘Horse of Kings’ is really a dream come true for me.”
Situated on 9.27 acres in Dunnellon, FL, the farm includes a three-stall barn with tack room and living quarters. There is a sand-clay arena, two round pens, a playground with obstacles, and space to ride in the park like pastures.
Using these picturesque and well thought out surroundings, we create appropriate training plans for the horses in our care. Beginning with nutrition-to exercise-to daily interaction, we strive to cultivate a balanced horse - in body and mind. With age appropriate training, we are developing horses for amateurs and professionals alike.
Cindy Myhre is also a Certified Public Accountant with license to practice in Florida and Vermont. A native Vermonter, she relocated to Dunnellon, Florida, in 2019. Cindy has over 35 years experience in tax preparation for individuals and businesses, estates and trusts.
A long time student of dressage, she is an amateur rider who has a passion for correct classical training and Iberian horses.
Miklos Repasi is the head trainer at Rising Oaks Farm. Born in Hungary, he has over 40 years experience in the equine industry as a competitor & trainer. Miki’s knowledge of the horse’s body mechanisms and understanding of their psyche along with classical riding principles creates the basis of training programs for our horses. He combines groundwork, in-hand work, and riding to lay a solid foundation in the horse’s education. With him as the teacher, they exhibit their self confidence and their athleticism is cultivated and encouraged.
